If you haven't been informed, then we apologize, but...
Andrew and I are expecting our first child!
The baby (we are calling it the Muir Baby for now, as we do not yet know the sex) will be due around 30th January 2014.
We have passed the first trimester, and mother and baby are doing well. The father is getting more protective by the day, but we are all very happy, healthy and eating properly.
Below is blurry photo of the baby's face (and a little bit of the tummy?!) from our 12 week ultrasound scan. Please enjoy at your leisure.

Can't see photo?why?could be a hollow baby ?
ReplyDeleteYeah... sorry about that... Should be able to see the picture now.
DeleteFirst trimester and protective already?? You won't be allowed out the house by the third! I'll have to sneak you out!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I think he won't be that 'protective'. Still, thank you for your offer! We look forward to your visit in October!
ReplyDeleteWhat a dear little face. Took me a while to see it clearly. Discovered by holding device at 45 degree angle I could easily make out the eyes, nose and outline of the cheeks. How exciting.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing this. I am sure all us grandparents are following this with excitement.
I tried really hard to download all 40 or so scan pics from the CD Pacific Radiology has given me. However, it requires us to download a software, then the free version runs out after downloading just 1 photo before it asks us to upgrade to a paid version... Very unhelpful and money pinching strategy.
DeleteI was a little freaked out by the scans as its like an X-ray... I could see the two brain hemispheres in this photo, and in others, I could see the heart, lungs, kidneys etc...
Good to know that the baby is developing well, but also quite scary to see the facial features imprinted onto the brain?!
